Longtime reader Harry Ulrich originally purchased this gem of a Chevelle for just $750. Since then, it’s gone through a complete frame-off restoration, swapping out the original 396 ci for a low-compression 454 ci with forged internals and a Weiand 8-71 supercharger that forces 13 psi of boost. The rest of the drivetrain includes a Turbo 400 and a narrowed 12-bolt rearend. For cruising duties, he relies on the big and skinny combo on Centerline Convo Pros. Ulrich also went on to say that his son, Dustin, pushed him to submit his ride, and we say kudos to him for making it happen!
