Engine: 482ci W-motor by Lamar Walden Automotive. Comp Cams camshaft. LWA intake manifold with two Holley 930-cfm Dominator carbs. MSD 7AL ignition box. Whiz-Bang Chassis 2.25-inch-diameter headers. Barry Grant fuel system. Be Cool radiator. Said to produce 1,100 hp and rev to 9,400 rpm.
Current Driveline: Powerglide by A-Team, Tinley Park, Illinois. A 6,000-rpm stall torque converter. Cheetah shifter. TCI cooler. Strange Engineering differential & coilovers. 40-spline axles. 4.88:1 gear ratio. Wilwood disc brakes. Weld Racing Drag 4x15 Lite front wheels with M/T tires. Weld Racing Alumastar 14x15 rear wheels with 14x32 M/T slicks.
Personal: Age 69. A Chevy man since the mid '50s. Raced a white,'60 350hp 348 El Camino called "The Milk Truck" at U.S. 30 when new. Has also owned: '55 Bel Air, '62 380hp 409 SS convertible, 18,000-mile '62 Bel Air two-door sedan, '62 bubbletop 327 with A/C, '64 425hp 409 Biscayne and a '66 427 Corvette. Currently owns a show-quality, 900hp '63 482/409 Bel Air and a stock '60 270hp 283 Corvette.
