Rick Dobbertin, who owned a speed shop at the time, evidently graduated summa cum loud from that school of thought. He figured if one positive-displacement Roots-style blower for the 454 in his '65 Nova was cool, then augmenting the positive manifold pressure with a pair of exhaust-driven turbos was way, way cool.
