Deliveries would have been much quicker in the late '30s if they'd had a fleet of Don Richardson sedans. Don's built 415ci small-block features an Edelbrock manifold, CNC machined AFR 220 cylinder heads, and JE dished pistons. He handbuilt the headers and installed a complete 3-inch exhaust with Dynomax mufflers-even adding A/C to the mix. For track duties, a set of 27x10.5 M/T ET Streets out back helps propel the '39 delivery to an 11.95 at 116 mph at the big end. Plans call for a rollbar and a little shot of nitrous to get him into the 10s.
