Maserati was founded in 1914 and its birth can almost be described as accidental, given the almost total lack of links between Maserati and the automotive world family. The authorship of the Trident is up to Alfieri - third of six brothers - which begins with repairing bicycles and very young was hired by Isotta Fraschini. The young scion founded his own garage and provides assistance to owners of Isolde, until it begins to draw cars. In 1914, inevitably it gives rise to Alfieri Maserati. The first car was founded in 1925 and is called type 26. It reveals light and efficient, challenge the best Alfa Romeo and Bugatti times and is constantly evolved, until it mounts a powerful 3-liter with exceptional performance.
