Two of GM’s customized 2014 Corvette Stingray concepts utilize similar exterior modifications, but in vastly different ways. The Torch Red 2014 Corvette Pacific concept, built from a Z51-spec coupe, was allegedly inspired by a “West coast,†“track-oriented†theme. The Torch Red paint is offset by a pair of Carbon Flash Metallic racing stripes, which match the new front splitter, rocker extensions, and rear diffuser affixed to the car. A set of 19- and 20-inch split-five-spoke wheels, finished in satin black and highlighted with a bright red bead, are pulled from Chevy’s accessory catalog. Inside, the interior receives a carbon fiber trim kit, a flat-bottom steering wheel, and competition sport bucket seats which are normally offered as production options.
