So many unique engineering features define Spencer's highboy that it continues to influence roadster builders even today. This hot rod was part custom, with its wrapping cowl, lack of framehorns, integrated frame exhaust, and rolled rear pan. Even then, the raked, boat-like DuVall windshield was rare, and combined with the Z'd front and rear frame and uniquely designed front suspension, it incorporated many original ideas into a single roadster.
