Wallpaper Description:
Bill Gildersleeve, who hails from Paulden, AZ, ordered a ’glass ’41 Willys from Auto Classics and set it on a rust-free Arizona ’87 S-10 pickup chassis. The frame and suspension were then painted satin black, and an eBay seller provided the ’02 LS1 engine and 4L60E trans. An auto salvage yard was able to locate the bolt-in 8.5-inch, 3.46:1 GM disc brake rear and Rich Edgar shot the truck with three coats of Hemi Orange Pearl paint and clear. The Upholstery Guy in Chino Valley, AZ, stitched the interior on the custom framing and panels that he made. There is also 40 square feet of hand cut and formed aluminum diamond plate in the bed, on rear fender guards, and inside the cab.
