After retiring in early 2008, Perry Peradotto, who lives in Gilbert, AZ, began looking for a project. After locating a ’40 Chrysler New Yorker, he spent 18 months doing a frame-up build on the car. The project was his first at this level of intensity but, in the end, he says it was well worth the hours and days spent working on it. He also says some of the best times have been attending events and car shows with the Tucson Street Rod Association, and he thought the Vintage Air Tour was a great event when it came through his town a few months back.
