A billionaire in the middle east is the proud owner of a White Gold SLR McLaren. The super car is not painted gold but in fact has an outer body made of white gold sheet. Yikes! That’s $2.5 million well spent! I’m not a goldsmith but I’m pretty sure this external body shell must weigh alot and the sports car would hardly be able to move. But I’m wrong! This one of kind car has a Mercedes V10 Quad Turbo capable of producing 1,600 horsepower with an acceleration from 0 to 60 in under 2 seconds. And to top it off, it runs on biofuel. It is also rumored that the SLR is not white gold but is in fact solid chrome – either way, a bit too extravagant for my taste.
