Steve Ciregna’s ’02 Sunset Orange Metallic Trans Am may look like a show car, but he’s got enough track time and horsepower to prove otherwise. That’s right, Steve and his WS6 managed to grab two track championships in 2011 (Real Street and GM EFI Bracket at Englishtown Raceway), along with a 12.0 True Street win at both Super Chevy Maple Grove and the LSX Shootout. Unfortunately 2011 also marked the demise of Steve’s LS1 engine, which he promptly replaced with a Chevrolet Performance LSX376 crate motor, hopped up with a custom camshaft, Trick Flow cylinder heads, and a new FAST intake manifold. That’s enough motor to run 10.90’s, which Steve is happy with, considering he plans to run in the 11.50 bracket this year. Consider yourselves warned if you plan on lining up next to this WS6 anytime soon!
