In the early 1970's, when astro-turf became our football field covering, the left-over sections were glued onto a teacher's VW Beetle (with his permission), covering everything except for the glass, door, & trunk handles! It got so much attention, an upholstery shop started installing astro-turf, or vinyl tops, on cars and trucks.......:D:D:D
