1936 Morgan Old Black car during UK vacation --------------------------------------------------- The Morgan 4/4 has been in production since 1936. This is a world record, recognised in the Guiness Book of Records, a fact which the Morgan Motor Company is very proud of. Underneath the classic exterior, the Morgan 4/4 features the latest in engine technology thanks to Ford's 1.8 litre Duratec engine. Not only is it the most powerful 4/4 ever produced at 125 Bhp, but also the most economical. With a combined fuel consumption of over 40 mpg, and a genuine 50 mpg available on a long journey these high efficiency figures are matched by the low CO2 emissions of just 164g/100km.
Still produced in the traditional manner, using the steel ladder chassis which then has its coachbuilt ash and aluminium body fitted, the customer can choose from a range of 50 leather colours and 40,000 colours to truly make their new Morgan unique.

I usually like horses and trains better than cars, but this one is pretty neat looking! Too bad they don't still make them this way. My favorites file could use a car like this! f +1
by the way Tom I am a motor head or petrol head! Had to look this one up.. I believe this is a Morgan. Don't know what year because they have used the same body since 1936...
