A high bid of $190,000 wasn’t enough to sell this ’69 Boss 302, which is documented as having sold new to the Chrysler Corporation back in May 1969. Chrysler used the Mustang to help in the development of its own ’Cuda and Challenger Trans-Am cars, a story we told in “Chrysler’s Boss†(July ’09).
