Porsche 718 GT4 Approaching the Chavalon abandoned power plant, Valais-Switzerland.
In Valais, Switzerland there is an abandoned power plant which has been out of operation since 20 years. Its humungous structure on top of the mountain stands out, being a fascinating construction which is visible from. The power plant stopped producing electricity in 1999, so for over 20 years it has simply stood there. In 2009 the demolition of the boilers took place, however this was never completed. In 2017 any other projects on this installation had stopped, some say due to the new regulations on the implemented “energy strategy 2050”. Now it simply stands there and is visited by explorers with a fascination for abandoned places
The 718 Cayman GT4 is the fastest Cayman road car to date, with a claimed top speed of 187mph. Porsche says the 718 Cayman GT4 can go from zero to 62mph in 4.4 seconds. The 718 models were introduced in 2016 and were the first to use turbocharged engines, which caused somewhat of a stir. The GT4 version is the new flagship of the 718 Cayman range, replacing the GTS as the sportiest variant of the line-up.
